He was “The Guy” at BG and responsible for all of the key WDs in North America, Australia, and for shipments to Europe and also the Middle East.   In 2002 Harry got bored as he had no more challenges and once the word go out; he was offered a position as a Regional Manager by Holley.  By 2008 he was promoted to Director of Sales.  And we all know what happened right after that… the economy nose-dived resulting in most companies had to down-size or “right-size”.   Holley was no exception, as he and each one his sales staff were looking for work by 2009.  So that led Harry to start his own rep agency, Harry Miller Sales and he’s never looked back.  HMS currently has six regional sales managers covering  almost all of the US and most of Canada, and Harry is still looking to add more talent.  Harry is a workaholic and travels anywhere and anytime that he is needed.  In fact, in 2019, Harry recorded over 500 Jobber calls in person.   All of us here at HMS are very surprised that Harry’s still married (LOL).  So if you see Harry in travels at an event or trade show, be sure to stop by and say hello!

HARRY MILLER – Founder and President – For most of his life, Harry has been an automotive nut and was self-taught in most aspects of performance vehicles.   While growing up, he built engines, set up rear ends, wired and plumbed race cars, and also rebuilt 4-speed transmissions.   He started in the performance business in 1980 working at Speed Unlimited in Maryland for many years. Eventually, he stuck-out on his own and opened his own speed shop.   To quote Harry, “I was made an offer I couldn’t refuse by Barry Grant Fuel Systems" that prompted him to sell the business and move to Georgia in 1995.  He responsibility was to revamp their approach to product distribution.   When he arrived the company’s only dealt with a small handful of WD's.  By 2002, Harry had virtually every WD in the country buying and distributing products.  This included Racers Equipment, Keystone, Arrow Speed, Motor State, VSI, Winners Circle, Reliable, Time, SECO, National, Speed Warehouse, Performance Warehouse, Dix, etc and the list goes on forever. 

If one word could describe why Harry Miller Sales was started, it would be "Dedication".
